we remember what we've heard, what we have seen and we are getting remarkably better at tricking ourselfs. We create people and world, we writers, filmakers and artist breath these places and people into life and the then the audience sees and knows these idea's, these people and places and things and we can see them as real as if they existed and we encorpoate that into our mind, but more dangerously, we encorporate them into our thoughts. They live in that other world with us. Never realy ever leaving us. And these are the characters that only dance in the mind, who live in that intangeable space beyond relaity. Perhaps in that place of dreams, in that place of timelessness. I remember when i was a young mom, devouring books about childbirth, and motherhood eventually coming across the part where we have to essentially teach our children to sleep. That falling a sleep without resistance is something that is learned as apposed to naturally occuring. We have to learn how to let go of this place to fall into wherever it is we go... maybe its just like a screen saver.
but what interest me more than that is, where exactly that place is... the one that can be so tangeble to the viewer created by the viewer that it leaps from the page, or the screen or the canvas or the instrument for that matter, and becomes somthing tangeble and digestable to everyone else and then they can have it in their space.
we dont talk about this place very often. maybe some of us arent even aware or ever think about it. That place, inside our mind is real. just as real as this keyboard im typing on though it is closer physically as honor is, or as tangeble as honesty. These real, genuine things like humilty or compassion, these "idea's" that we incorporate into our beingness are just as important and ligitimate as concrete physical evidence. Perhaps there letigimacy is determined through means that exist outside the scientific world at present.
Some of us can hear the thoughts of others, can feel the feelings of others physically in their bodies. Surely this talent comes from the mind. But whose mind? Both minds I suspect. For a mind must be open to the other in order to share, guards must be lifted, and frequency could have something to do with it.
In times of great need answers are searched for, and questions seem to pile up endlessly. We all know these answers, i think we need only to remember them. and continue to remember.
Does science allow for the possibility that there is no answer to some questions? Does religion? Does metephysics? Or do we believe that the answer to every question already exists, or in other words the knowledge exsisted before the question. The answer is, has and will always be there we just have to figure it out. This thirst, for knowledge exploded in me later in life than when i was in school. Finally when I had a chance to discover what interested me, I was able to finally seek and find the answers that plagued me. Of course the true answer evolves and changes like everything in our world...even if we cant see the change with our eyes. Being careful not to be the frog in the boiling water (thankyou al gore.)
